<p>The people in my dorm only drink fine wine and cognac on the rocks. It's DELICIOUS and I never have to pay for it. Haha, people in other dorms probably drink cheap beer.</p>

<p>Beer doesn't become better, anovice, you just build a tolerance :) I hate hate HATE beer, but I go to Dartmouth so I sorta had no choice. After awhile Keystone Light tastes like water.</p>
<p>I'm all about Cosmos, white wine, or vodka cranberry. Flavored vodka is good too, if you're just starting out.
Learn to love jello shots. They are quick, efficient way of getting drunk without doing regular shots. (Although those are good, too!)
Um... one last piece of advice, especially for girls: Go easy on the Mikes/wine coolers. They seem good at first but you can get soooo sick of them. And they don't help in terms of the freshman 15.</p>
<p>Oh and I agree with Hoya, keg beer is NASTY. Even by beer standards.</p>
