<p>Standard laptop is a bit heavy to carry around. Any suggestions on which systems work best? Enough horse power, light, enough screen real estate, battery life?</p>

<p>Anything more budget friendly? The fear being dropping/losing the laptop.</p>
<p>Asus U81A or something like that. Fairly good price, looks great, runs decently for most college things (a gamer and a CS coder would probably hate it). Has a looooong battery life. Is pretty light.</p>
<p>ive been using the ipad with a note taker app and it has worked perfectly. The battery life is amazing. Itll last a whole day of heavy usage. Its not bulky at all and pretty much does the same things a macbook or other laptop would do. Definitely recommend it if you dont want to break the bank on a new computer</p>
<p>HP dm4t, I just got one today and it’s a great laptop. It was on sale at Office Depot for $680 but it just ended today. Look for another deal to come around.</p>
