Favorite AP Classes

In your experience, what has been the most rewarding/interesting/fun AP class you have taken and why?

AP stats was super fun and awesome. I really like the subject.

AP Chem was amazing! The subject was super interesting, the labs were fun, and I had a great teacher :)

All of them. ^_^

Physics C!

AP Bio was my favorite, the teacher was amazing and I felt so prepared for the AP test when May came around. Plus the labs were so much fun

Well am going to self study but the AP self study classes am going to do is my favorites are US History, Government and Politics in the United States and World History.

I loved AP U.S. Government and Politics… I’m obsessed with the subject. AP Biology was fascinating as well…

I think it depends on what your persobal strengths are and who the teacher is… Personally, my favorite was BC Calculus. The teacher was so invested in the students, gave a lot of extra credit, and did so many reviews with us that everyone felt comfortable with all the topics and the format of the exam…

^^ teachers like that is needed in the United States lol!

My favorite was Art History, it’s made going to art museums so much more interesting and I notice things in architecture when i’m just out and about. Now I really want to study abroad in Italy in college and take an art history course

I loved AP psych. Some people kind of call it a b.s. AP class, but you learn lots of interesting facts about the mind that you can actually apply to your life. Some of the vocab from that class still ends up in my everyday conversation.

I also really enjoyed AP Eng language, mostly because I love reading and writing. We had really great, intellectual discussions in class on a daily basis.

AP psych cause its interesting, well most of it. And AP us hist cause my teacher was hot lol

I want to take AP psych so bad!

AP Human Geography. Yes it was an easy class and exam, but the material was really interesting and it provided models that apply to my everyday life.

I’ve only taken 2 - AP English Language and AP Spanish Language. Looking back, I’ve realized how much I’ve learned and gained because of those classes. Through AP English, I learned to appreciate writing and logic. I’ve learned how to become a better writer. Over all, AP English was worth it and I enjoyed that class. AP Spanish just fueled my desire to pursue languages in college and I wish to become multilingual. Also, in every day conversations, I speak a little bit of Spanish. From "si se

Can you self study for AP Human Geography or it’s meant to be taken in a class? I might want to take it as for self study because my school does not have AP.

You can self-study for any AP you want

Philosophe, I’ll be taking apel and apsl very shortly as a rising junior. Sounds like it’ll be a fun year, seeing your enthusiasm.

I enjoyed taking ap euro this year because our teacher was excellent. She didn’t lecture much, but she made our textbook the sole authority of knowledge. A rinse and repeat of outline notes, tests, and oral presentations prepared me for the test like no other.

The appreciation for a class all comes down to teaching style. If the teacher can deliver, then the content is more readily absorbed.
