I saw Moz a month ago, it was absolutely amazing.

However, my favorite artist is definitely Elliott Smith.

The Smiths probably come in at a close second.

Followed by Wu-Tang Clan. Or Notorious B.I.G. I can't decide.

Rilo Kiley are pretty amazing. anybody who hasn't heard of them should definetly check 'em out. Jenny Lewis (lead singer) has a really great solo album out. not a big fan of the Elected (guitarist's side project), but some people really like it.

it really depends on what album. It's probably closest to alternative with a bit of new wave. sometimes they'll throw in a little alt. country (but it's not at all rednecky). their 2nd album's the best (in my opinion:) it's mostly huge rock anthems. i guess there's some prog mixed in. it's VERY hard to describe. the best thing to do is listen to them yourself!

Yes! I love Voxtrot =)

The Start of Something is the most cuddly song in the world. Seriously. That's the only word I can think of to describe it.
"I'd get angry with athletic ease
Break common laws in two's and three's!!!!"
I love that song. Sosososo great. When I first heard it more than a year ago, I thought that it would be one of those amazing songs that gets old after about twenty listens because it's just TOO catchy. More than a year and a half later, it's still one of my favorites. Everyone needs to hear this song NOW.

ahh. i love voxtrot. i seriously want to marry ramesh. have you read his blog? he is the most amazing man everrrrr.

and have you gotten the new CD. if not, buy it. its definately worth the money. the entire album is awesome, particularly stephen and firecracker. and theres a little documentary called shooting for the lasers about voxtrot on youtube, its really interesting. lmao im such a goober.

Billy Talent? Chiodos? It doesn't seem CCers are into the whole hardcore thing(although Billy Talent isn't anywhere near hardcore).

brand new!

Ooh, yeah, Rilo Kiley is great. I agree with you: Jenny Lewis = good, Elected = "ehhh." I personally would call them more alt-country (but subtley so, if that makes ANY sense at all!) I like Take Offs and Landings the best.... Always is my favorite Rilo Kiley song =)

LesOs, oh my god! i love always! it's so cool how it builds and builds and builds and builds and...you get the point. spectacular views is probably my favorite song, though. she uses the f-bomb SO well. have you ever heard the initial friend ep?

Always is my favorite Rilo song too! And nataliexcore, I love Ramesh as well<3

Ohhhh, Ramesh....!!!

But, my music-boyfriend is definitely Andrew Bird. I'm in love with him... I'm creepy, and I'm proud of it =)

LOL don't worry, andrew bird is all sorts of awesomeness, so it's okay =)

But for me, SUFJAN is LOVE! He's adorable and talented and...hehe

i totally agree with art star, sufjan is awesome and VERY adorable. my friend's brother plays the trumpet in his band:D

Are you kidding?!?! You should try to work those connections... hehehe....

Sufjan is definitely up there on my list of music-boyfriends. He's also a nerd, just like me =) Buuut... an adorable nerd, nonetheless.

But, my heart will always belong to Andrew Bird. Don't Be Scared is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard!!!
