Washington University in St. Louis
Stanford
Duke

From what I know, Hopkins looks awesome.

Tell me what you think of this college:

http://puka.cs.waikato.ac.nz/custom/cic/collect/cic-hcap/index/assoc/p757.dir/Campus%20(aerial%20view),%20Hamilton%20College-large.jpg

Wasn’t Colgate selected as having “The Most Beautiful Campus” ? The lake at the bottom of the hill is so pretty, especially in the fall.

I liked Northwestern too, for all the ins-and-outs and its view of Chicago over the lake at night. JHU: for his secret gardens. Princeton: for its really cool architecture.

john that college is sweet love the pink roofs lol

Warblersrule, I don’t think you’ve been to UBC campus…or what decade it was if you were. Miles of golf course as you head into it looks a heck of a lot better than Duke! The Anthropology Museum area, the Japanese garden, cherry blossoms lining many streets, 1000s of acres of relatively old growth forest that is yes, UBC campus?

Did you even bother to click through the tour?

Although I haven’t been there, and even sail in Annapolis, I have heard that St. Mary’s College of Maryland is quite picturesque. And no to Stanford–it’s quasi-Mission architecture with a dry, flat campus, and not too much foliage, doesn’t do it for me.

The most beautiful campus I have seen is Cambridge (in the UK). Nothing comes close really. In the US, I really like Cornell, IU, Pepperdine, UVa and Wake Forest to name a few.

I think we visited a different Carnegie Mellon!

The main part of the campus was, indeed, nice looking - I personally didn’t like the pieced-together feel of the architecture, but this is an opinion, of course. The dorms, however, were run down (even the newest dorm) and apparently in need of repair. The walls were dirty and the buildings were kind of plain and ancient.

I dont know why University of Colorado at Boulder wasn’t mentioned yet.
With the rockies in the background and 600 acres of beautiful spaces and picturesque buildings it would have to be one of my favorites

Notre Dame an Indiana University are my favorites, but I’ve heard UVa is really amazing too.

In no order
Stanford
Cornell
UCB
Princeton
Oxford

Campus Vibe has great photos of campuses across the US.

columbia is beautiful
princeton is hideous

Lewis & Clark!! is my favorite by far.

Pt. Loma Nazarene has the prettiest ocean views I’ve seen, being literally on a cliff above the breaks, but the actual campus is okay.

Stanford looks like a giant Taco Bell to me.
I really liked Lewis & Clark, Pomona, Scripps, Mills, and University of Oregon. I don’t really like the gothic style architecture at a lot of the older schools.

Florida State University

For different reasons:

Pepperdine

UC Santa Barbara

Clark University

UC Berkeley

Johns Hopkins

Whitman has an awesome quad with a creek running through it next to a quaint down town in Walla Walla, Washington. It also has unsurpassed alliteration for sonic beauty. U.C. Santa Cruz is among redwoods on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. Yale has amazing architecture of various types all over campus (check out the begining of the last Indian Jones movie). Pomona is gorgeous and has great weather, but is close to Claremont which is a great school but with housing that looks like a motel. Occidental has pretty buildings that are often used by Hollywood to exemplify college campuses though the surrounding area off campus was not wonderful. By the way, it might be cruel but amusing to list the ugliest campuses. Also, how does weather factor into the beauty analysis. East coast and mid-west schools have great seasons, but the pristine snow falls give way to dirty snow and mud everywhere. Sunny California has a rainy season but no dirty snow on campuses.

I thought Dartmouth and Cornell were beautiful!
