Favorite (best looking) college campuses?

I think you have to go by how you feel when you walk throught the campus. When we visited Wellesly we thought it was beautiful, but for my daughter I did not have good feeling inside despite the beauty. She ended up at Brigham Young—really nice with the mountain backdrop!

Tulane
Wash U
UC Santa Cruz

Pepperdine hands down

Johns Hopkins is downright ugly… if not for their reputation, I wouldn’t even consider there. Their campus is their downside.

and whoever said Princeton is hideous obviously has no taste… Princeton is one of the beautiful campuses I’ve ever been to. It’s a shame I will never get to go there.

Most beautiful campuses?
I’d say Washington University in St. Louis and Stanford

<<<stanford looks=“” like=“” a=“” giant=“” taco=“” bell=“” to=“” me.=“”>>></stanford>

OhmyG-d, that is too funny. Gonna share that with my husband, the Stanford Alum. Funny. New Yorker cartoon caption, fun-neeee!

Miami University in Ohio
Indiana University - Bloomington
University of Pennsylvania

Johns Hopkins, no doubt. The marble, brick and lush grass make for an epic campus.

Indiana, Iowa State and Alabama were the prettiest campuses we’ve visited and the happiest, kindest people too!

Yes to Indiana; thus, it was chosen as the campus in the moving “Breaking Away.”

Duke, Stanford, Notre Dame, Holy Cross, Dartmouth, West Point.

Vassar College has THE most gorgeous campus

Clemson University

this one, hands down, no contest:

http://www.ronsaari.com/stockImages/newJersey/PrincetonBlairHallInSnowM.jpg</a></p>

I found Princeton to be quite beautiful and serene. I loved the look of Stanford’s campus as well.

Stanford, Indiana University-Bloomington, University of Iowa, Cal Poly SLO

Principia College in Elsah IL. 1500 acres of woods overlooking the Mississippi, and the buildings were designed by Maybeck! Just gorgeous. AND…an ongoing archeological dig of a woolly mammoth between a couple of the dorms!!

UVA & Duke
Hopkins is pretty but I would hesitate to go far beyond campus… that part of Baltimore isn’t the best. Don’t bash me… just my opinion. Baltimore is tricky. You can go from a decent part of town to a place I wouldn’t ask directions in a matter of 2-3 blocks.

Furman University is gorgeous. They put a lot of money and effort into ensuring the beauty of the campus because it’s honestly what really makes people want to go here.

The campus is in the city of Greenville (which is also really nice), but it’s very much it’s own area. We have one set campus that is sort of a town inside of a town. It’s not built into a city like many colleges are. That’s what I really love about it. Also, we have a lake and we sit right below Paris Mountain. It’s honestly a stunning place and encourage anyone who wants a nice campus atmosphere to check it out.
