Favorite Boarding School is Choate!

nick name!!!

bruins fan i have no clue what u are talking abnout

recruiter!!!

10 characters

uhmm sure it can be a recruiter letter if u want it to be? i got it from the coach after i sent my tape. so u guys think this an in or just a plus or a big plus

Not exactly what I meant. He’s the admissions liason/football coach. I got a call from him!

football caoch, which one at choate? lol i talk to him every other week. he got two of his players to call me if thats any good sign

line…

Bruinsfan I have no idea what u say everytime, are u calling me a liar?

yjun212, nice letter from the football coach, but don’t get too jacked up over it.

Last year, I made some video chips of my son swinging a bat and hitting some balls and sent them to every head baseball coach at each of the 10 BS’s to which my son had applied. My son has a big time baseball swing, if I may humbly say. But of all of these coaches at all of these schools, only one really went absolutely wild over my son’s swing, calling it the best pure swing he had seen by a high school kid in years and wishing that all of his players on his team had that swing. That coach was Tom Yankus of Choate, who is a tremendous fellow and a solid baseball man. (I think that he played some AAA ball for the Yankees years ago.) Needless to say, my son and I were pretty pumped up and excited about Choate, its baseball program and Coach Yankus a/k/a “Mr. Choate”, according the Choate view book.

So…guess which one of the 10 schools to which my son applied was the only one that didn’t accept or WL my son?

Yep: Choate, of course.

So, stay cool. Hold your excitement until March 10. Then start falling in love with one of the schools that accepts you. Until then, everything a school tells you is foreplay. It may feel good, but it means nothing unless there is an engagement offer attached to it.

What name dows the deerkiss coach go by???

I’m so down now there is no hope left as an atlete wit mediocre grades

Thought you would be familiar with all the coaches nicknames

Haha bruinsfan I don’t need to know all the coachs nicknames nd be rude to ppl when I can act get feedback. I also don’t make up stuff like u did about the athletic pool at andover

O btw choatws football coach has no resemblance to lj

Wow, this thread is so well received. Should it be a rival thread of “Favorite BS is Deerfield”? I’m applying to Choate and love the school too!
Anyway, how about the acronym CLADESH (or CLASHED as Dapple suggests) invented by me?

bump. . . . .

i love choate! i really want to go there! there performing arts programs is ah-mazing! atleast according to my friend who goes there and the little bit of research i’ve done

I dont think Choate is anyone’s top choice. It is just a fact!

Well, soccer345, I would definitely choose Choate over Exeter or Andover. I know someone who goes there, and she says that Choate has a lot less pressure than Exeter, but the same amount of work.
