<p>Please keep in mind that Andover is arguably the most competitive school in the world with an acceptance rate of roughly 16.6%. You do have a chance after the deadline, but that chance is extremely, extremely slim. I think you’d better wait and apply for next year’s round. In the meantime, you should work hard to keep your grades up, study for the SSAT, write rough drafts for your essays and participate in meaningful extra curricular activities.</p>
<p>Also, I want to remind you that you should apply to more than one school. In another post you mention that you love Andover partly because of its proximity to Boston. There are other amazing schools who are close to Boston too, including Milton, The Cambridge School of Weston, Dana Hall (if you’re a girl), Concord Academy, Middlesex, Brooks, Governor’s Academy, Groton, Lawrence Academy to name a few.</p>
