The sports time is not really an issue. Sure, sometimes if your coach keeps you late you might have to take a quick shower and run to class, but it’s honestly not that bad. And I was only late to class once or twice because of sports during all four years.

Meals are a good time to socialize. Club meetings are great places to meet people. Also, you’ll be in a dorm (unless you’re a day student) with a bunch of other people! It’s not that hard to keep a balance between work and socializing, but it is important to keep that balance. Don’t be a hermit, but don’t forget to study either.

That’s who I had as well. Maybe he was the only one brave enough to venture to Idaho and Montana for admissions trips. He was really nice. He took the Idahoans out to lunch once during summer school.

Bump…We are going to beat Andover in the “who can have the largest thread contest”
Go Exeter!!! (big library, made to order omlettes, and everything else you guys can think of)
Don’t let the Smurfs win this contest…we can do it!!!
Go BIG RED

So, if the people on this thread DO get in (fingers crossed!), what classes would you all want to take? Clubs? I’m looking at Japanese, Robotics (it sounded hard at first, so I was off-put, but now that’s what makes it so appealing), Muggles in Denial, and I’m considering one of their hip-hop dance clubs… I’d be so afraid of doing horribly in it, though! Or like, not fitting in! Can anyone whose been there comment on what the atmosphere is like?

konikamano, did you look into Exeter’s robotic team/club? That was the question we asked everywhere except Exeter, guess we assumed Exeter had everything. My son is really into robotic stuff, he built himself a computer when he was so bored with writing assays.

FayMom, from hearsay I’ve heard that Exeter’ Robotics team is super intense. Like, there’s a couple very intense clubs on campus like the Math Club and the Exonian, and Robotics is one of them. This is just what I heard, though.

I actually didn’t look into the club, I just sort of watched one of their classes (I think it was a class) when I was at my dad’s reunion. Back then it seemed hard and scary, but now it seems fun and interesting! I love it when my opinions change like that! XDDD I don’t think I’d want to join a super-intense club right at the beginning, though - I’d want to get used to the school first, so I can be sure I’m capable of committing myself 100% to that activity (I hate doing things only partially, I feel like a flake). But I’ll definitely be sure to look into that!

That is so wierd Tuesdays…Guys keep adding to this thread so we can beat you know who. It would be cool if everyone on this thread got into Exeter too. Do you guys know any places to buy clothes in the town of Exeter? I like the town too because when we went there we drove around and it’s so small that it’s like going in a big circle…LOL. :D

Lunachics is really cute, that’s in Exeter. There is also a sports clothes store, and I think a couple other clothes stores. (My sibling went to Exeter)
