Not all kids love Disney. My daughter came home from 1st grade one day after they had watched Pinnochio in a complete tizzy. She was furious about what they did to the story. .....but she's kind of a weird kid.

She loved Snow White, though. When she and her brother were 2 and 3 they used to act out scenes from it. She giggled madly when Snow White died because she said the dwarves put her in a "thing just like butter!" (The glass coffin)

Some of the music is great though.

And Mary Poppins is still one of my favorite movies of all time. The "step in time" dance sequence one the rooftops is awesome choreography.

The Pixar ones are great, mostly because there were epic power struggles between Disney and Pixar. Pixar once even split entirely from Disney. Just the fact that Pixar got ****ed with Disney makes them cool

I like their newer stuff - Ratatouille and Finding Nemo were fantastic. But my favorite Disney movie of all time without a doubt is Mulan. I never thought much about like Aladdin/Little Mermaid/Snow White though...

Yeah, Walt's got some issues... didn't he freeze himself so he could be unfrozen when the technology advanced enough so he could come back to life?

Tom, that's really uncalled for. So, Walt had some issues. That doesn't mean that the movies aren't wonderful. I loved disney movies when I was little. It's like Santa Clause. Yeah, he is an elf-enslaving breaker-and-enterer, but you don't go around ruining the magic for little kids by telling them that (or, of course, the truth).
Also, Disney World (never been to Disney Land), is actually really fun. Not the Disney per se, but the roller coasters are fun and the Around the World part of Epcot pwned.

ok. but that doesn't mean that he has to take it out on the movies. In fact, the only problem I can find in them is that they give little girls unrealistic expectations about guys, which I think would happen even w/o Disney.

no, i haven't. As a rule, I never watch the stupid TV show they try to make after a successful movie. Disney sucks at TV. The one exception I ever made was that Lilo and Stitch thing (years ago, mind you), until it got too repetitive.

As a younger child, Avatar was my favorite. i did watch some disney channel (kim possible, anyone?). Yes, thats so raven was a favorite of mine. currently though, i'm more into comedy (the Big Bang Theory RULES!) and House.

i just like House for Dr. House. he's so cool! I love his sarcasm...it's like what I'm thinking most of the time but don't have the courage to say.

yeah i watch Heroes with my parents, but I didn't start watching it at the beginning, and my parents have made a rule against asking questions that pertain to the history behind stuff. So i don't get most of it.

Rugrats, rocket power, doug, cat dog, ren and stimpy, rockos modern life, HEY ARNOLD, original all that, kenan and kel, and the game shows (Legends of the hidden temple, GUTS, figure it out etc. ) are like my life in a nutshell. I almost went on figure it out. Summer sanders is a family friend. I'm just talentless :(
