Favorite, hardest, worst, best...

omg, talk about awkward. that might be one thing i wouldn’t like to much about bs.

Eh, it wouldn’t really be so bad if the teacher liked you and visa versa, just say hi and be done with it lol

true. but what if it was the teacher that absolutely hated you. what if they hovered over you and caught you and your date kissing or something? uhhh, that’d be bad.

Not really, I mean why would the teacher object? I mean what adult in their right mind is gonna go “■■■■ OMG SOMEONE CALL 911 THESE 16 YEAR OLDS ARE KISSING IN PUBLIC”

Most of my teachers (granted I go to and all boys school) would probably make some comment about getting it on and then say name…, what a beast

i currently go to school with nuns, so it’s a bit different. they’re very uh, modest i guess you could call it. they’d probably hit me with a ruler if they saw me doing anything.

and LOL at your teachers.

Awkward? That adults are EVERYWHERE? I have that already, haha.

the teachers were kids once too…

Reigning topic back in…

Although, I’m awful at favourites (alphabet mob, elveedaily) so I can’t exactly participate, but these threads can go REALLY off topic!

OMG!!! their lives must have been SOOO different, I mean-no iPods!!! AHHHH!!! Whatever shall we do!!! (we haven’t spent the majority of our lives with ipods either. I bet you used a walkman/CD player until you were at least 10, that’s over 2/3 of your life)

but did you have the first ipod ever made?

As interesting as discussing the childhood of nuns is, how about a change of subject to something more on-topic?

Let me try to get this back on subject.

Favorite: history by far. love my teacher and his methods of presenting the material. i also love what were studying
hardest: honors biology. i was never made for a science career
worst: math. same as above. math and science arent really my thing, but i have A’s in both.
best: french. I love the language and learning about a new culture is just amazing to me. to see how people live outside my small and confined redneck town never ceases to amaze me.

oh boarding school, take me away! :)lolzz

Is your s/n by any chance a reference to Henry David Thoreau? (sorry to take this back off topic)

haha yes. i used to live in concord and went to a camp named after him. his house was also right down the street from mine and i visited walden pond many times (the inspiration for Walden was walden pond). haha someone finally understood my name!

That’s so awesome! I’m a big HDT/Emerson/transcendentialsim (no idea if I spelled that correctly) fan.

I’ve kind of wanted to visit Walden Pond, but then I remember that it’s kind of just…a pond. lol.

Yeah it’s really gorgeous though. And just by being there, even though it is only a pond, the experience is amazing just to know that you are at a site with such meanng that inspired an author who really changed the world. All of concord is like that because down every street, there’s a piece of history, no matter how small.
