Favorite Harry Potter Book

Probably Deathly Hallows...and then Half-Blood Prince...and then Goblet of Fire.

deathly hallows, goblet of fire, half-blood prince, prisoner of azkaban, chamber of secrets, sorceror's stone, order of the phoenix

i dont get y order of the phoenix was that good. harry was so angsty but it did have a good fight scene in the end....

goblet of fire was probably my favorite, but i also love prisoner of azkaban and order of the phoenix.

Order of the Phoenix > Goblet of Fire > Deathly Hallows > Chamber of Secrets > Prisoner of Azkaban > Half-Blood Prince > Sorceror's Stone.

I didn't like Deathly Hallows that much -- far too fast-paced, the author had so much plot to fit in that she failed to deal with the emotional consequences of the plot development. Like, who died in the seventh book again? Do you still remember? I don't. Besides, in a series where most of the climactic moments are resolved through deus ex machina, a book chock-full of climactic moments reads like poorly written fanfiction.

But I still liked it better than the first three. It was gripping.

Goblet of Fire>Deathly Hallows>Order of Phoenix>Half-Blood Prince> Azkaban>Sorcerer's Stone>Chamber of Secrets.

Half Blood Prince!
Then it's a tie between Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows...

Sorcerer's Stone or Deathly Hallows

I love both Deathly Hallows and Goblet of Fire, but if I had to pick one, I'd choose GoF simply because the epilogue in Deathly Hallows really annoyed me.

It's a toss up between Deathly Hallows and Prisoner of Azkaban

I think that I would have to pick Order of the Phoenix.

I like Deathly Hallows, but like fizix2, I think its too fast. It should've been lengthened into 2-3 books. Better profits for Rowling is another reason to expand the plot. I didnt really like Half-Blood Prince, because it seemed like more a prequel to Deathly Hallows, a book thats around the same size but with a lot more stuff.

I loved all of the books. I can't imagine one without the other. I loved Deathly Hallows and thought that it was a great way to end it. I also loved the Half Blood Prince. Idk I just can't decide all of them I enjoyed very much!

Deathly Hallows, just because Neville goes all Jedi master on Voldemort.

Order for me too.

Order = Goblet > Deathly Hallows > Sorcerers = Chambers > Azkaban > HBP SUCKED

BOOKS
1. Deathly Hallows
2. Goblet of Fire
3. Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Half-Blood Prince
5. Order of the Phoenix
6. Sorcerer's Stone
7. Chamber of Secrets

MOVIES
1. Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Order of the Phoenix
3. Goblet of Fire
4. Sorcerer's Stone
5. Chamber of Secrets

Since I last posted, I (re)read them all.
My new order:
1: DH and HBP
2. GoF
3. PoA
4. CoS and PS

Though this seems very unfair because CoS and PS are still really awesome.

for me I think it would be
1. Goblet of Fire
2. Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows
3. Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Chamber of Secrets
5. Half Blood Prince
6. Sorcerer's Stone

I like them in ascending order I think. Each one just got better and better! Same with the movies...

Prisoner of Azkaban and Half-Blood Prince!

The movies lost their touch after Richard Harris's death. The man was Dumbledore. Michael Gambon is, I feel, too aggressive. What ever happened to the clear blue eyes that twinkled mischievously behind half-moon spectacles? :P
