Favorite Music

I have… a lot of different tastes in music. I’ve noticed it tends to be more on the side of rock and techno, though, and a lot of Japanese music as well.

-Paramore
-Breathe Carolina
-HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR
-Evanescence
-Utada Hikaru
-Ayumi Hamasaki
-Britney Spears (just a little, not a huge fan)
-Fall Out Boy (again, just a little)
-Kelly Clarkson

Wow, what’s with all the people mixing Children of Bodom with rap and alternative music? No correlation whatsoever :D

^ Haha, absolutely not. I saw Bodom live in '06 and I actually ran into them at Starbucks last April before they were about to play a show in Philly when I didn’t even know they were in town. I haven’t been keeping up with rock/metal over the past few years, but Warmen - Beyond Abilities remains one of my most frequently listened to albums.

Bodom’s keyboard melodies are very accessible.

That said, the “and… T-Pain” thing was an I’m on a Boat reference.

^ Yes, I don’t play keyboards but Janne Warman is my hero. I was mindblown and shocked when I ran into him at Starbucks. I took pictures with him, it was so cool.

I don’t know if you’ve heard Warmen, but it is Janne Warman’s side band which is predominantly keyboard based. My favorite rock group and ‘Beyond Abilities’ being my favorite rock album.

I also caught Alexi’s guitar pick when I saw them in '06…love Bodom.

classic rock for the win! Beatles, the Who, Boston, Queen, Rolling Stones, Cream, and a bit of RHCP

Bodom’s not even good anymore. They were overrated in their hey-day too.

90’s rock: Green Day, Weezer, etc.

RHCP is classic rock?

Damn, I’m old.

They’ve been around only like 7 years less than Boston and Queen.

Grateful Dead, Phish, and The String Cheese Incident.
