Favorite Word...

To the person who put “sex”: I genuinely hope you are accepted.

I put debatable, is that going to be a common one?

i put eleemosynary. my favorite word EVER :)

^Good choice!

I put ‘aspiration’.
I don’t know how common that is…

noob
yeps, that was my fav :stuck_out_tongue: I hope they don’t mind it being too frank :P

Hmm . . . does anyone believe they put a word that will have no duplicates in the 20,000+ applications Princeton receives this year? :)

I kind of think mine may not be duplicated. Hmmm…

I put ‘However’, should be picked quite often I think… Unless it’s that bad :p

I think quite a lot of ‘non-motivational-less-expected’ words will be unique among applicants. People who put random things like ‘sandwich’ or ‘earmuffs’ or something. If those people even exist!

I said “chuffed” it’s a british word that means “to be pleased with oneself.” I love it because it’s onomatopoetic and because there isn’t really a word for it in the US.

I had put “INFINITY”. But at the last moment did not apply!! My scores suck.

also, will the fact that ‘noob’ is not a dictionary word hurt me? :-/ Its going to be ‘unique’ for sure :P

I was hella glad that this question was included because I feel very strongly about certain words.

I put “bourgeoisie” but I was also leaning toward “phoenix”.

I put chthonic but I really wanted to put sehnsucht, but sehnsucht I thought was too depressing and reminiscent of my “additional information” submission.

Sehnsucht means addicted, irresolvable longing. Yes, it’s German. It’s one of those quasi-mystical words that do not quite translate =)
Chthonic means concerning or related to the underworld!

valor was mine

I put “passion” as mine.

mine was random… and i think i should have chosen my word more carefully to add further insight into who i am.

my word: colloquialism. I like the sound of the word. I feel like it implies I’m into linguistics, which I’m really not lol.

Philadelphia
Sounds very rherotic

I am going to write this word for Princeton 15’

how about benevolent? tastes good

My word was “truthiness.” Beat that.
