Hi,
My counselor e-mailed/faxed my documents to Stanford over two weeks ago and they still are shown as missing on my portal. Is this normal? What is the typical wait time? I am worried because Stanford received my SAT scores from the College Board on the 28th and processed them on the 31st so I am not sure why my other documents have taken so long.

The portal isn’t always updated to the satisfaction of the applicants – it can be frustrating. Know that if anything is missing, they’ll contact you. They are GLAD you applied and are hoping to admit you --remember that
The CB info may auto download. Faxed docs would need to be scanned. Email depends.
When I applied 10 years ago I remember reading an article that Stanford admissions received well over a million documents each year that had to be scanned. There were three or four administrative assistants opening mail/receiving faxes and scanning it into their system. I am sure much more information is received electronically now but it wouldn’t surprise me if they are a few weeks behind the curve for getting info into their system.
