Is it okay to send my financial aid forms (ex. copy of tax returns, business supplement, etc.) by fax? Namely Vassar, Williams, Middlebury, Claremont McKenna. Or do they want them by mail?

check the schools website for direction. Do they all want the forms?

I wouldn't think FAX would be a good idea, but that's just me thinking off the cuff.

Well, some colleges like Penn want it through FAX, but not many of the websites provide any information about it. I just thought FAX would be much faster..

fax is faster, but I would be concerned about who has access to the fax machine. Maybe you can cross out your ss#. I am paranoid about too many people being able to see it...., thus my anti-fax sentiment

I'd mail it. You'd hate for a page to fall and get lost, or someone get all your information. Unless it says to fax it or has a fax number on it, it should have an understood "mail it in".
