how long does it take to fax something? or overnight mail?

Fax is 60 seconds or less per page. Overnight is dependent on the destination and the day of the week.

can any find the correct fax for collegeboard to cancel our subject test scores, there are like 7 fax numbers on the site.

Phone/email NY and obtain the fax number for your cancellation. Not knowing what site you tested at and whom you deal with in your local.....I'd phone NYC and handle it with them. You need to cancel all of the testing. Good Luck with this.

that one doesnt give the fax, and the proctor said we can cancel by mail or fax if its sent in by wednesday, no email though.

how does it work? ive never done it before. and if its written, you can still fax it? i thought t fax something it has to be typed

for fax u hafta type or write it out, then put it in the machine, type in the fax number, and its sent, then you take the paper out. Were you able to find the proper fax number?

oops. hazmat: i meant how long does it take for it to be sent

Do we just write cancel our scores, or do we have to give an explanation of sorts?

im not sure..:/
so does a fax machine work like an email basically? it gets sent just like that? or does it take a few days?

Practically like an e-mail.

Someone has to accept the fax at the other end of the line (usually entails picking up the phone or pressing the fax button). And then whatever you faxed is printed out for them.

**How do students cancel their scores?
SAT Reasoning Test:

Students must cancel all scores for that test day--meaning, a student must cancel critical reading, writing, and math sections. After the test, students should ask the test supervisor for a Request to Cancel Test Scores Form, complete it immediately and return it to the test supervisor before leaving the room.
SAT Subject Tests:

Students must cancel scores from ALL of the Subject Tests taken on that date. If all responses to an individual Subject Test are erased, it will be considered a cancellation request, and scores from all tests taken on that day will be canceled. If a student is taking the Math Level 1 or Math Level 2 and the calculator malfunctions, those scores can be canceled, but the student can still have the other Subject Tests scored. Students taking a listening test in November whose CD player malfunctions can cancel these scores, but still have the other Subject Tests scored.
Canceling Scores After Test Day

Cancellation requests after the test day must be received by the Wednesday following the test date. Requests must be received in writing and include:

* the test center number
* the name of the test they want to cancel
* student's name, address, sex, birth date, social security number, and registration number
* signature

Where to send the Cancellation Request

Students should label their inquiry "Attention: SAT Score Cancellation" and send it by one of the following:

* Fax: (609) 771-7681
* Overnight delivery (U.S. only) U.S. Postal Service Express Mail:

PO Box 6228
Princeton, NJ 08541-6228

it'll take it just as you write it (so make sure your writing is legible)

You don't have to include your social security number if you never wrote it down for your tests right?

do you really have to write it by hand or something?

ya I have canceled my May test. Once you fax the message, they will e-mail you with the confirmation.

did you write by hand?
