yes i wrote by hand and faxed to them on a tuesday. I received the e-mail confirmation next day

how do all you people not know what a fax is/how to fax something?

^^^ You see what worrying about colleges can do to some people's common sense and knowledge....idiots....

Either that or they are from a foreign country...

i canceled on tuesday and still haven't received a confirmation. okay i'm kinda nervous now. i typed it up because i wanted it to be neater. but i did sign it. ahhh why haven't i gotten a confirmation yet?

1. Did you get a confirm that your fax was successful?

2. Did you include your email address on the fax?

Yes (meaning, I got a receipt of the fax, because whenever I fax something, my fax machine also prints out a receipt). But NO not from collegeboard.

Yes

I just checked my account in collegeboard and my registration is "complete" but it's not deleted.

Just wait it out. I'm assuming collegeboard got bombarded with a bunch of faxes from students who waited till the last minute to decide that they wanted to cancel their test scores.

hazmat: i did not add include my email address to the fax. does that mean it wont get confirmed?!

i cant believe it. they didnt mention email address on the form...

Your question is rather ambiguous. The confirmation of fax transmission isn't dependent on your email address. Rather your machine will record the communitcation and generate a "success" message for you.

Confirmation from CB that your testing was cancelled and you wish notifcation/confirmation by email IS. Does that make sense to you? How can CB notify you of the successful cancellation by email if they don't know your email?

Don't panic. You can phone them or fax a request that CB confirm the cancellation to you.

any news, nobodyjay?

How long does it take for the collegeboard to acknowledge the score cancellation?

How do they confirm it, email or letter?

I just received the confirmation by mail about my cancellation from the May testing date!! But they had e-mailed me almost immediately after I faxed.
