Fax Updates?

If you have one or two updates on your ecs, should you fax them to the school?

updates are unneccessary, period. Your app should speak for itself. Meaningless updates on your EC's can and oftentimes DO become pestuous to adcoms, hurting more than helping. Just skip em.

No they aren't.

depends how big they are...a new leadership position, science award or something important should be faxed...but if its just that you joined a clubh or two, dont bother

Thanks, should the information be faxed? (esp. since decision making time is ..well now lol)

Edit: Is there any special format/opening in the fax to tell whoever's looking at it what it is, etc.?

Would it be too late at this point?

bump on my last question

mail only takes 2-3 days to get almost anywhere in the US, that's fast enough. A simple letter to the admission office should suffice, I don't think you need to send a fax. I'd also add a sentence or two restating your interest in the school.

thanks, I'll send it out tomorrow since usps is on vacation today, but i was asking about the time because i'm not sure if my decision has already been made or not, and if so, would they review it again in light of the update (if it's significant info)
