I'm not sure which kind of documents can I (or my counselor) send to MIT by fax? Can my high school transcript, evaluation letter(s), school leaving exam results and fee waiver letter (I'm an international student) be sent that way? Or I must send some by mail?

I am just curious. Are u from Vietnam ?

You can send any and all of your documents via fax.

Sorry for asking a (probably) stupid question, but in which hours in the day can I send documents via fax? (This afternoon, I was about to send some documents, but not avail. Perhaps because it was 3 AM in US time, or for some reasons that I don’t know)

I would imagine that you can fax it at any time. Could the fact that you are trying to send it from an international number have anything to do with it?

There is free online faxing. Try fax zero dot com.

Thanks everyone so far. My counselor faxed recommendation letters in December 26. I know it takes time to process, but among which he also faxed a fee waiver letter (as a note, I’m international and ineligible for online fee waiver requests). I’m not sure if the fee waiver is not processed before deadline, will my application be considered void?

No, you’ll be able to submit the application when the fee waiver is processed.

MIT is closed until January 2, which is why your waiver request hasn’t been processed.
