Faxing score reports to colleges?

<p>I read somewhere on here [maybe in a lessons learned thread?] that you can fax your scores to colleges you're applying to, rather than having to pay for score reports through College Board / ACT. Can anyone verify/debunk this, or is it specific to each college whether they accept faxes or not?</p>
