Fbla/deca

I was wondering if any of you guys have either of these organizations in your school. If you do could you kinda describe what each one does. I know they are pretty much the same but I am going to try and start one of them and I can't really make up my mind. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

FBLA - have it at my school. All we do is go to regional, state, and national competitions in our events. There are like 30ish events, and we get to choose the ones we compete in.

We have both but I don't know much more than they go to competitions and stuff.

I don't really know what FBLA does, but I think we have it in our school I'm not sure.

We have DECA, I'm in it. It's cool you go to regional competitions and compete in an area you choose either by yourself or with a partner. If you're in like the top 16 in your region you go to States, top 3 at States you go to Nationals. It's a lot of fun

I'm in FBLA. It's the nation's largest business organization for students. I think there's about 250,000 people in it across the country. There are several conferences held each year (nation, state, regional). You get to compete in individual, team, or chapter events. You can also attend workshops and meet new people. It's really fun.

Since you're from Maryland, I got the link of your state's FBLA site: http://www.mdfbla.org/fbla/

Does it look really good for college if I am the founder of DECA in my school?

^^^ yes, but only if the organization becomes active and you truly care about deca isntead of just doing it for college apps.
