Fbla & jsa

I am supposing that FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) looks better on an application to Wharton than JSA (Junior Statesmen of America) does, since FBLA is about business. However, does having previous experience and a lot of involvement in FBLA matter a lot in Wharton admissions (especially the Huntsman program), or would a lot of involvement in JSA be just as good? Do most Wharton students start out knowing nothing about business, or were they head of the FBLA at their school, etc etc?

the best answer is that both are good. however, accomplishment is what sets apart someone who was accepted at wharton & someone who was rejected. it doesn't have to be int'l awards, but it might be. Do what you care about...you are more likely to be successful in the activities you truly enjoy.

But if you really don't care, probably FBLA is better.

The president of my JSA chapter was selected ED for the M&T program. JSA was one of the ECs that the Admissions Office looked on very favorably, or at least that is what I have been told.

Do whatever one you can get a leadership spot in...

^^^ That's a ridiculous mentality. I hate people who think like that. If you do things you are passionate about, good things will come out of it no matter what.
