I'm wondering is anyone here on the forums going to state or have been to state? I doing economics and my advisers told me it get real competitive and is dominated by asians (not meaning to be racial). So I was wondering if anyone had any tips when taking the test.

It does get more competitive. However, a non Asian from my school won economics last year in Missouri.
Have you done practice tests? Which state?

FBLA tests are common sense + random filler. Don’t take it too seriously, watch your time, and study for your finals.

I’m in georgia I study so much didn’t have a break during the snow storm. We take the test on march 3.

It can get competitive, but just take it easy. It’s a lot of fun, and you get a lot of free time. But what’s better than states? Nationals! One of the best weeks I’ve had! But yeah, I did Entrepreneurship last year, got 1st in States then top 15 at Nationals, and I barely studied! I’m doing economics too this year, and made it to states. What state are you? I’m NJ.

Nationals was sick last year. MLG Anaheim was held in the same convention center!

2-time state qualifier. To be honest, it was really easy and I didn’t really enjoy states… there’s actually not many Asians at states (I felt really left out lol), and the majority is definitely African American and white.

Never made it to Nationals, but I would have loved to go to Anaheim last year ahhh. It’s somewhere boring like Tennessee this year. :P

Nationals is in Nashville, tn and that is not boring! Great music everywhere. Best concerts, all types.
Topace, I’m sure you are more prepared than you think. Don’t forget the filler questions may be any area of business, seeming somewhat random. Good luck!

Well i’m going to try to take it easy not stress myself out. Goodluck to everyone hope to see you all at nationals. :)>-
