Considering you have to pay $35 to be part of it seems kinda worthless as a resume builder.

Any other opinions or experience with FBLA???

ok i guess the lack of response says enough..

i went to the first meeting last year and thought it was a complete waste of time and money.

it’s also more popular with high school students. that should tell you something.

Well, it is a really good extracurricular to put in your resume if you were an officer at the chapter, regional, state, or national level. Also, if you place in one of the competitions. But the best part is the conference. I totally loved it :)

I must say…I think that FBLA is rather enjoyable. Granted, I’ve only done it this year, but I participated in the economics event, received 1st in my region so far and, supposedly, got a high enough score that, if I were to get the score again at states, I would most likely get 1st in my state as well. So, I guess I’d have to concur with veronicav that the best part is the conference
and, I must add, you learn a great deal from the competitions themselves.
