I know it’s too early for senioritis. So I take full responsibility. But I’m so worried about getting rescinded I can’t sleep at night. Obviously I have to get myself together and get my grades up but honestly it’s so hard to stay calm. I got into GTown EA this year with a 3.7 gpa. It’s my dream school…but lately I’ve been getting pretty bad grades compared to last year. My grades are:English A, Ap Bio looking to be around B- or C+, Ap math looking to be A- or B+, Politics A, Religion A-, and Ap Comp sci B+. I’m pretty sure with those grades my gpa might be around 3.3-3.5…how likely am I gonna get rescinded? Or at least get a warning letter? I have another semester to bring up my grades but it’s hard to stay positive…
Get some rest!
You need sleep.
Are you failing ANY classes? Are you in danger of failing any classes?
If not, don’t worry. The universities know you are under pressure to do well in your last year of high school.
You are in, don’t stress anymore.
Get some rest or you will start to decrease your grades.
Those grades are not horrible. I agree…rest and sleep! You are fine. Your grades are fine. IMO, its not too early to get senioritis. IMHO, I think this is a horrible side effect of kids who have worked super hard in high school - the stress. Enjoy your early admission, enjoy your senior year, do well but don’t obsess over grades that aren’t quite as high as you’ve been used to.
@Empireapple @auntbea @privryan You’re all so kind. I’ll take up privryan’s suggestion of calling the college just to make sure.
