Fears......

I am a little concerned that some of you (including me as a parent) are all a little concerned about what others are saying about Case and I think we need to put everything in perspective. Everyone has an opinion and it is fine for them to share it with us. I appreciate the questions that students of Case are sharing with us. However, we need to keep in mind that every one of us could have the same room mate, teachers, classes, etc. & we would all have a different take on what Case is like. Keep in mind that there is NO perfect college ANYWHERE.

Let's remember that Case is a very good school. Obviously you applied because it is known for its academics and the strong programs that it is known for. Will you have to work hard? I am quite sure you will have to, but you are all very smart & what you learn now will benefit you in the careers that you will have later. Will you have unreasonable professors? I am quite sure you will, but keep in mind that there is NO school that doesn't have a few.

People also worry about what there is to do, etc. Join some clubs and get involved. If you sit in your room no one is going to find you and you are going to be lonely. I know that it is sometimes hard to get involved in clubs or organizations & feel a part of them so remember you need to go at least six (6) times before you make up your mind that it is not for you. If you don't get out & about then there will be nothing to do. Everytime I hear people say there is nothing to do in Cleveland I want to scream. I know the area and area around Case very well. There are plenty of things to do, but you have to find them they will not find you.

College will be what YOU make of it. If you go with a bad attitude then you WILL have a bad experience (not to say that even people with a good attitude can't have a bad experience).

This is a new chapter in your life make it a great one!

I'm more worried about graduation right now. Wow, it's going to be wierd to finally officially be out.

Worried about graduation??..like tripping and falling while getting the diploma? lol

more like being finished with high school. And never going back. It's almost like moving (which I've done a lot of).
