So guys. How did we do?

It was tricky this month.

So guys. How did we do?

It was tricky this month.

E:easy
M:extremely easy
R:harder than usual and not enough time (I got a 35 last time on this, but would be lucky for a 30 now)
S: kinda iffy, just hoping for a 30 but realistically will get below that

Overall: I went in wanting to get a 33, but now I’m just hoping to get a 31 again. Luckily, my number 1 Cornell takes the best scores from each section, so I think I did a lot better in E and M than usual. Now, it’s just time to wait the teeth clenching two weeks!!!

The fire alarm went off twice during the math test so we had like an extra 20 minutes. I just hope our tests still count.

E: iffy on this
M: Easy
R: Easy
S: confusing but i think i got all the concepts down later

btw when can we discuss questions?

I hope we can discuss questions soon because its killing me haha

E: harder than usual.
M: ran out of time but easy.
R: easier than usual, still tough.
S: a lot easier than usual.

Overall:

Goal: 32

Prediction: 30-31
Math:30-33
English: 29-32
Reading: 26-29
Science: 30-33

A little disappointed in Math and English, because I was hoping to get 34+ in each. However, Science and Reading were easier than expected, so overall I am not too upset.

Someone should bring up some questions. I already forgot everything.

So anxious!

did anyone else find the science section unusually difficult this time?

On one of the science questions i had erased question but didnt fill in anything else. The mark is still quite visible do you think it will read that answer?

No, I found it easier than usual.

The one about what type of cell it was, and one other one really confused me.

the question with the circumscribed circle?

I second that!

yeah the circumscribed circle was quite difficult. it gave u 8 for one side of the square and then the radius was 4 for the circle. But if you realized it asked you for the area of the whole square so the 4 wasnt needed. i think that is what is it. im pretty sure i got 64 but i cant remember all of the details ha

damn, was it really that simple?

lol, now i dont have the test in front of me but from what i can remember yes. i might be completely wrong but i am just trying to help etc

I just joined CC because my older ds wanted to find out what others were saying about today’s ACT. He found the science section very difficult – and he’s a science guy. Are there different versions of the ACT given at different locations around the country? Or are all ACTs the same on a given test date?

Contrary to most people, I actually found the science section to be the easiest section, seeing as there was no conflicting viewpoints passage. The questions were extremely straightforward.

I found the prose passage for the reading section: [Wickett’s Remedy: A Novel - Google Books](<a href=“Wickett's Remedy: A Novel - Myla Goldberg - Google Books”>Wickett's Remedy: A Novel - Myla Goldberg - Google Books)

@TenebrousNight: really? not having the conflicting viewpoints passage hurt me, i think, since it’s the one that’s generally easiest for me

Uhh, how interesting, our ACT test in our state started a couple of hours ago and they still have not finished…
