Feb 12 ACT

Ah, on that one you could have just chosen values for a, b, and c and try to prove one of the equations wrong. I got a is a factor of abs(b) - c, I think… Because a wasn’t a factor.

thats what i put for the dice one… i was stuck on that one tho… i think it was B tho

Questions

1) Neurons question
2) Math - A is a factor of b and b is a factor of c
3) Punctuation on movie title.

And no punctuation with movie name, I don’t believe. Very rarely do you ADD punctuation on the ACT, mostly removing.

also there was question that said double memories on reading which one was it? Jacoby, Brown, I did not have time to find it. Also for the reading the one with what does the passage say about ice is false, like ice is famous during summer, ice is broken or something like that. Then for the math, for the matrices would u just find subtract matrices and divide each thing by 2?

what letter was that abc factor one?

I put punctuation in the movie title; the sentence doesn’t make sense without it.

What is “the dice one”?

no one has answered my question about the ratio of the two radii with all circle, equilateral triangle, and square inscribed in each other…?

also, for the english:
was the answer “embellished with” for the option that could not be chosen?
also, the first question on the english passage about the movie in nebraska… was the answer that hollywood came to nebraska “after” the town was selected for the movie or “while”? i think that was the question…

oh and the question on the math where it gave you the vertical line and it asked for the sum of two of the angles… was it 90 degrees?

I second wayzatadude

for the double memories it was like grool or something with 2 o’s… wasnt sure about the ice…math answer one was D… it was pretty simple

in english there were few bad questions. It had hospital and how they changed it in midwest. First question answer was naturally. Then it gave options as resemble, imitate, but if you picked those answers the sentence would not make any sense. Also there was another placement question on the passage with african american woman. Lease of travel or something. That placement question did not make sense. Are u sure it was grool?

I put embellished as the one that was wrong.

Lots of questions.

@love2sing94: It was “after”. “No change”, I believe.
And yes, 90 degrees was correct.

for the hospital, first it was used “naturally” as a hospital and then they changed it to “resemble” a hotel lobby.

@kellian

 1. It’s still hotly debated but I’m pretty sure its Neurons
 2. It was A (c is a factor of lbl - lcl)
 3. No punctuation necessary.

Oh, the hospital one on English… it was definitely left as is. It was bad until I went back and noticed the “as” after the underlined portion. Because of the as, “imitate”, “replicate”, or the other ones wouldn’t work. It had to be left as “doubled as”

I put presented with, since I thought decorated with is the same?

Was d in math like subtracting and dividing each by 2. I completely forgot matrices.

I agree with all of Cooldude987’s answers.

And spongexobob, it couldn’t have been changed to resemble. Because there was an “as” after the underlined portion. Changing it to “resemble” would have made the sentence say “resemble as”, which makes no sense.
