Feb 12 ACT

If the population of the bacterium quadruples rather than doubling, was the equation the 4^t one?

^I don’t know it felt pretty bad during the test lol. I had like a minute left and had to guess on 3 of the prose fiction.

@thomsill thats what i did

Gooood. I think that was the answer, but I’m not sure. Not too much time.

What was the last one in math that was the graph of cos and sin? I’ve never done that stuff before, I guessed the one that was like -pi/2 to pi/4 or something.

that’s also what I put, thomsill.

i had to guess on 4-5 of prose

^^^ Pi/4<x<Pi/2

the answer to the last on math was pi/4 to pi/2… if u took trig that was a very simple question for a number 60

Dang it. Drats. Poop. Yea i’m in precalc now and we started trig like two days ago. All we know is that a full revolution in a graph is 2pi. I haven’t seen the graphs that look like waves.

did you guys do prose last? I did prose, kinda thinking about the double square math problem cuz it really got to me that I couldn’t figure it out exactly… then i accidentally skipped the social sciences, did the humanities, went back, and finished w/ science.

i always do passages in 4-3-2-1 order

OMG i’m so ****ed i thought it said cosx > sinx

so many simple mistakes

really mtv22? im in pre calc also, but we did that stuff like beginning of year/middle of 1st semester. we’re doing parabolas, circles, ellipses, and hyperbolas at the moment (iconic sections).

^I did the opposite order of you. You have to forget about that test when you’re done, at least until now when you can compare answers.

u could just look at the graph they gave for the last question.

for #60 on math u guys are talking about what letter was the correct answer? i just remember the letter i guessed, haha
and also, does anyone remember the math question that was somewhat like a³b^2 something long and it asked to factor

@Theundertaken yea well our school has trimesters so i didn’t start precalc A until December.

thebalster i remember that one i think. Was it like x^2y^3 + xy^2 +xy4 +4 or something like that.

btw if u didnt know what sin and cos looked like you couldve just plugged it into your calc
