^I believe so, seasmart.

Yea i know Theundertaken. I’m pretty sure hyphens and colons mean the same thing, for the ACT at least. But I thought semicolons had something special.

a semi colon is the same thing as a period

or a (,fanboy)

THIS TEST ALL DEPENDS ON MY READING… its agonizing

^almost seems that way for me, too, soccer.

Also, I thought there was supposed to be a warning before the passage in the English saying there will be questions at the end asking about the passage as a whole.

depends on the test…

@mtv22: You can pretty much tell if the paragraphs are numbered with brackets.

No mtv, they do not do that. You have to read through the passage to find the question.

english was pretty easy imo

Ahh people have been feeding me lies!

I’ve never taken the ACT before but I thought that the reading, english, and math portions were really easy. I was actually surprised that I finished all of the sections.

^Same, except reading. How do you guys do it??

does anyone remember like #74 in the english section
i forgot the question but the answers were similar to:
before A in paragraph 2
before B in para 3
before C in para 4
before D in para 5

i really had no idea where the “A,” “B,” etc. were, but i guessed “before C in para 4”
no clue what this was referring to though.

there were letters in the paragraphs between sentences like [A] or **. The answer was before B in para 3 i think.

i put my answer as b… i was stuck between that and c but im pretty sure b was it

nevermind about that 36. I remember that people were saying that “resemble” was wrong :/

Yes it was at spot B but it was paragraph 2. Second answer choice for sure 100%

Why is ‘resemble’ wrong? That’s the only one I remember being sensible…
