The math itself wasn’t difficult, but dissecting the problem and solving it without making any mistakes was.
soccersr’s method would have been faster though.

thanks so much. I knew it was 46 ( i changed it from 46 to 37 on the test though, darn it.) I just had no idea how to even plug in numbers, I was extremely stumped. Thanks a lot!

Pretty sure they must have gotten them mixed up. I highly doubt that 3+ of us would have made the same mistake. It’s understandable though, that question was tricky and you had to read it carefully.

@balster, sorry man, you are wrong u mixed up the numbers. It was 27 more red than green for sure, even though i do not remember the other parts.

@balster - it happens bro… i’m ****ed at myself for getting the area of 8root 3 wrong… some reason i divided twice. proctor was walking by at that point and i think it distracted me. I also think I put 15pi - something for that string one… and I knew how to do it obvi…

So on the math question, in the taxes part, there was a question asking for the difference of the rate of the two different brackets. Igot .9 but all my friends got .1, which is the right answer? GOTTA GET A 36 ON MATH

I’m pretty sure it was 0.9%. What do I know though. This will be possibly my worst ACT math ever.

Also, for the other tax question that i think some people said the answer was 160,000, how did they find that answer? I forgot how I found my answer, (and idk which answer i put), i’m just hoping 160k was between like 150k and 180k cuz that seems to be what I remember doing but I am not entirely sure.

@msinan94 as far as I know, .9 is correct @Theundertaken I got 82500 for an answer, but I don’t recall getting an answer over 100K in the tax questions.
Another answer was .1x-5100.

The question regarding the ratios of both circles with the inscribed triangle. We had an agreement it was 2:1 but I was talking to a kid in my school who is great at math, even better than me and im quite good, and he got 2:rad 3
