@Apchemistry… that was the right answer… it did affect the peoples lives because remember the kids stopped their studying even tho it was the week before the exam? you got it right

ya i said that too, also there was somtin about how tere was a aton of road bloks and **** cus of it so ya it was def yes

I agree with the answer of 4. Like others, I divided the square into 4 triangles, which had areas of 4 much like 1/4th of the square would be expected to have. I figured if you had two examples of its area being 4, it’s very likely the area will always be 4.

As far as science, I don’t see how neurons could not be correct. No type of transmitting cells were mentioned in the passage, and neurons obviously work within the brain. I picked neuron, assuming we were expected to know that.

Disappointed to hear .1x wasn’t the answer to the interest problem, but I see how that could be incorrect; it wouldn’t make the graph continuous. All I was thinking when I saw the question was “Well, it says 1%, but nothing about subtracting money, so that must be the answer.”

I do have 2 questions on English though! I believe I did well, but there were 2 that I found to be somewhat confusing.
- The descriptive words in front of the animals. Terrifying, curious, etc. What did that add to the passage? I selected that it gave them “human characteristics”, but I did have problems with that.
- Did the passage accurately describe how the inhabitants of Lincoln were affected? I said “No, because it didn’t give examples” or something to that affect.

Curious to hear your input.

Btw, I found Science to be most difficult. Reading was surprisingly easy. Math had no super difficult questions. English was… well, English. Not too hard, but not too easy.

Only problem I had was my proctor not writing start/finish times on the board. That REALLY threw me off. I had no clue where I was, and it bit me in the butt on the Science section.

was that the only one that people answered yes for on the “did the author accomplish…?” questions? bc i think thats the only one i remember putting yes for. and there were more than there normally are.

1) I put the one about connecting them with humans, like that the words gave humans a way to connect with the animals. I don’t remember if that’s the same one you put since I don’t remember specific wording.
2)I don’t remember this question lol, but it did give specific examples on how people were affected.

To flying eagle, I think so

I put the human characteristics too but wasnt too sure. But for ur second question, i think it was yes…it talked about how the students stopped studying on the week before their exams because the actors were in town

@Thomsill
- Same answer. Next sentence supported this
- I put yes because it changed their lives or something like that.

For the interest question, you could have looked at the graph and seen you needed to subtract…

plus the last two monetary brackets had deductions.

@ flying eagle. I put yes on the did the author accomplish… question about film in nebraska.
I put no on the one about Euro games, because they described one type of game rather than giving detailed instructions about diverse board games.

@thomsill: i also said the animals had human characteristics

The treacherous trekk of 3000 miles or whatever was correct because it asked for the most specific answer.

Does anyone remember the letter for that really confusing math question? (answer:4)

the euros one was that he didnt say how to play games…he just gave an overview

also, in the english passage about the woman who fought the nazi invasion, was it “consequently, this was called…” or was it just “This was called…”

just this.

I don’t think “consequently” was correct.

what was the answer to the english one with the movie, it was like “movie: title” (title in italics)
and the answers were either a colon, comma, dash, or nothing?

Was the eng question. For my father… A commercial fisherman, the whales were a common sight.

Was it father a…
Father being
Or father, a…

i put nothing

DONE

i put nothing as well for the movie one. I’m not sure though.

yeah, nothing wrong with that one.
