feb. 6 ACT

So, I planed to take the SAT as a standby on Jan. 23rd, but the location got waterdamage and were moved. So, now the chance are little to none to be able to take the test as a standby..

The first time I took it I was sick with a bad headache and got a pretty bad score, so I really need to take it again. :/

So I was thinking of taking the ACT in Feb. 6th, do Northwestern accept scores from this date?

Also, can I use the the SAT book to train for the ACT?

No .

I’m pretty sure Northwestern wants all the standardized scores in by January :S

Auch… :frowning: But they won’t get the score from 23 jan until feb. either…

Looks like I’m heading for cc… But as a international in need of aid, I would probably be going there anyway. But, it can’t be that bad…

Thinking of santa monica college, What are the chances to transfer to NU from SMC?

I also applied to LMU… thinking of UofOregon…

What would you choose; SMC and then transfer or UofOregon?

Bump…

Santa Monica College is a good option. Has really high transfer rate to decent colleges, especially UCLA

Yes, it seems that way. For most 4-year universities I would need aid, which makes it that much harder for me to get in. But I can pay for SMC with aid. And UCLA would be a great school to transfer to, even tough I would rather go to first: Northwestern or second: USC

USC don’t offer aid for internationals, so I didn’t apply thier. But with 2 years at CC maybe I can find some scholarships to apply for…

I mailed NU and got an answer… I can submit scores from February, but there is a chance it may not be added to my application in time before it is reviewed…

Should I try?

You should. It won’t hurt you at all.
Good luck!
