February 1st deadline?

So,I have decided to apply to USC (University of Southern California). Their deadline is Feb 1st, and they require all of this: https://admission.usc.edu/transfer/prospective/checklist.html

I can most definitely get my Common App in by Feb 1st. However, my high school and college transcripts may take a few days for the school to receive. I can probably have them in the mail by tomorrow.

Is it okay if they do not receive the transcripts by Feb. 1st but are in the mail by then?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, although some of the Common App supporting documents are not required, I am thinking of sending those as well. Can I send those in the same envelope as my transcripts?

I actually spoke to an admissions counselor about this question. The transcripts need to be sent before the deadline, but as long as they are stamped before Feb.1st it is ok for them to receive the transcripts after the deadline. Make sure you have the common application finished before the deadline and have those transcripts stamped to mail before then. However, I may be wrong, but that is what I was told so I don’t want to be held accountable for missing portions of your application. Good luck!c

@MattBags33 I ended up seeing the Feb. 1st postmark thing somewhere on their website. Both my HS and College were able to get them in the mail yesterday/today. Thankful for that. Best of luck to you!

Yesterday, I actually spoke with a USC admissions counselor too. The transcripts have to be in “shortly” after the Feb.1 deadline. They know that not all fall grades can be posted by the end of January and so if the transcripts arrive within a reasonable time, it will not have a negative impact on your application.
