Congrats to all!!

This entire thread is just kids who did super well come to brag on here. Obnoxious to say the least.

I have one question for you guys…I have seen all of your scores in this thread and was thinking that how come all of you guys can score 30s, 31s, 32s easily and still get upset by it…I made a 21 this time and was kind of satisfied since i didn’t have much practice…but i think i still can improve a lot…What books do you guys use to succeed and crack the ACT? i used barrons 15th edition and i guess it helped a little, but not much…which book is closest to real act and would help me get even a 28, 29 or something like that? Please answer! Thanks!

How did you all get your writing scores so fast? I was looking online and it said mine weren’t in yet. Did yours all just happen to be among the first ones done?

Besides that, I got:
English: 35
Math: 33
Reading: 34
Science: 36
Composite: 35

I kind of wish I hadn’t done the worst on the math section because it’s my favorite subject, but whatever. It was my first time and I didn’t even try to study, so I’d be lying if I said I was anything less than thrilled.

From what I understand, the writing score doesn’t count as a part of your composite score, correct? How bad does your writing score have to be before you should start considering retaking the whole test? I’m kind of nervous about it because I know it wasn’t exactly my best work, but I really don’t want to have to waste the time and money for a retake if whatever I happen to get isn’t going to hurt me.
