***February 2016 ACT Discussion Thread***

I’m wondering if we were supposed to use law of cosines

this thread is so dead lol did people fall asleep after his/her ACT??

What Form did you guys have? 73F?

Math and science good, english and reading not so good

@mmk2015 yes

@ssing714 true^^

I also had form 73F. I’m really only worried about how I did on writing.

@Faultystart writing scores are now pretty random so even if you did poorly, it probably won’t matter

I usually skip reading the passages in the science section but I read it this time and found it helpful.

I had form 73F as well. It was my first “real” ACT so it’ll be interesting to see how I did!
English - easy (for me at least…but everyone is saying it was hard so now I’m a bit worried lol)
Math - okay. Not a math person in the least but it was the level of difficulty that I expected.
Reading - easy
Science - easier than I thought it would be
Overall I thought it was a pretty balanced test. Now it’s time to wait for my score!

English and Reading are my strong suits, so most likely 35 or 36 on both of those for me. I’m never great at science, but it felt a bit easier than normal, so hopefully I can get a 26-27 on that (got a 24 on my previous ACT in October 2015). I’m absolutely awful and got destroyed by the questions. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I feel like I probably got a 19, I’m just that bad. Hoping for a 28-29 composite, I got a 28 in October.

i literally hate my life so much right now

I was thanking myself for choosing to take stats class because that & the ti84 saved me so much time.

@Ngzk07 On the other hand, I found the ship passage interesting…

The worst passage for sure was that New York music thing. Soooo boring.

^this

what was composers name again? ibaz?

@Ngzk07 i didn;t even touch my calculator for the math section… xD

Lol. How do y’all remember the questions?

Does your score depend on the certain questions you got wrong or is there just a general curve where you score follows that curve exactly based on the number you got wrong?
