Interesting how people find different sections easier and harder…
Hmm… I actually found this to be less challenging than the SAT. Only 1 very hard question in math, couple debatable in reading, english was a piece of cake for me, and science was just eh. First time taking it, hoping I can hit the 30 xD. Good Luck to All. L-)
For some reason this thread is way more chill than the December one
maybe its cause a bunch of people applying to colleges have the December ACT as the last one they can take so they stress about it.
I’m just gonna play some CoD and LoL to keep my mind off the anxiety
did anyone find science and reading to be a cakewalk on this ACT or was it just me?
@TheTennisNinja Correct about me being my last one, and I already applied to college, plus, I already have a 30, and I think I greatly improved on this test. An ACT Reddit everyone seem to get different answers between two choices, whereas usually there is a consensus. That means, there will probably a really generous curve.
Really though how do you access your # of questions missed from old tests?
@DAVE437 how did u do on writing? I got 30s on my last 2 ACTs too
pretty sure it was accompaniment not consequence. i think they were trying to trick us to think that consequences could only be negative, but i just searched it up and they can be positive. (i got a 35 in english last time…but idk how this one went, hoping the curve is generous af)
when math was ridiculously hard…
oh gosh math… I wanted to run out of the room on the questions in 40s…
@allima I put consequence. I got a 35 last time on English last time too. I hope that doesn’t drop cause I feel quite confident about Reading and Science
Do you guys find that ACT math has gotten somewhat harder than the sections in the red book? like the medium level questions on the old ACTs are now like the easy ones on the newer ones?
I actually thought that Math this time was much easier than ACT usually makes it. But I’m surprised to hear that the science section was easy! The conflicting viewpoints passage was doable, but I struggled with particular questions of a couple of passages.
@photogeek8 well actually the morning of the test I looked up a science strategy that IMO saved my life!
@TheTennisNinja what science strategy? or where online did you find it?
@allima http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/1071765-jeandevaches-guide-to-the-act.html
I usually get 35/35 on English as well. What was the exact question?!! @Nicolausparkon
@everyone I think it’s time to stop discussing ACT test questions in this thread.
