***February 2016 SAT Makeup Thread***

I said to extend a metaphor idk @SocialFox

Was number 29 n/e for writing

Math I think was easy
Reading was eh
Essay was pie, However writing mc was meh

I think my section 4 was experimental. It had a lot of question types I’ve not seen in previous practice tests.

@ajb1999 Can you be more specific? I don’t remember that question being on the test. @jruesmith7 That one should be or atleast I think a no error since Americans is plural. :frowning: Sorry.

What did you guys say for #13 on the last section about the “scientists think, 99% extinct.” I said that “scientists…,with many…” I was gonna pick "“scientists…,and yet…” But I stopped myself. That was a hard one indeed. What did you say for the: “Indian boar question,” “Exceedingly gullible” question?

@AwesomeFlame No error for the boar right?

This test was recycled from the october 2014 international and U.S. 2013

  1. the attitude conveyed in lines 68-72 ( "nobody ... water") is best described as a combination of (B) wonder and regret

Sam found his new job as foreman /at/ the factory so /mentally stressful/ and physically tiring that he came home every night /exhaustive/ and /irritable/.

the incorrect is exhausted

What do you guys for these questions in the fishing one:

The author mentions the ideas of Daniel Pauly (line 46) primarily to ______

and

The author of Passage 1 would most likely find the views expressed in lines 78-83, Passage 2(”Moral…brains”), to be ________

This test is the same as the december 2013 US test!

Answers are part of the QAS.

Dang thats class!

@pinkpistachios
I said to cite an authority and overly cautionary respectively

Is this the same exam that was implicated in the Oct 2014 cheating scandal?!

anyone know if we will get our essays back?

Guys, what did you get for the indirectly and directly proportional question. It was y is directly propotional to x^2 and that z is indirectly proportional to y. What is z’s relationship to x^2. Was z directly or indirectly proportional to x^2.

@AwesomeFlame123

Do you remember the question and the answer for the critical reading question you missed in the fishing passage?

@flightzealot

I got indirectly proportional to x^2
