@lastnite do whatever you think is best. I feel like the fact that your questioning it means that a part of you does think you should try the ACT. But,why not? If you’re a junior you still have time to take the ACT. I guess it also depends on what college you’re thinking of applying to. If you already have an idea of what colleges you’re applying to and your score is below their average I think it wouldn’t hurt to try getting an ACT higher than your SAT(when converted). But, if you’re at the average or well above the average of the schools you’re applying to then I don’t think you necessarily have to. But, then there’s the fact that having high test scores/gpa usually makes you eligible for various scholarships your prospective schools may have. Ultimately, if you’re a junior and you have nothing to lose by taking the SAT(again)/ACT I think you should, especially since you’re expressing doubt towards your present score. Just don’t forget to study if you’re taking either the SAT or ACT because it definitely helps. Good luck throughout your upcoming college admissions process!
@StIvies I didn’t mean any offense. I’ll take my score down if it’ll make people feel better
edit: actually, I just went back and the button for editing is not up anymore for my comment. I guess you’re just going to have to live with my optimism, sorry.
@michyl104 Nope. One wrong D: It was an algebra and functions questions so maybe I got one of the easiest questions wrong at that cost me.
@Hogopogo you took the february 27th test too? I also only got one wrong but I got a 780. The difficulty of the question doesn’t affect your score.
@michyl104 Yea it was Feb. 27th. I could send you a screenshot, but not really sure how to on this website.
Probably the last results from this rodeo, but mine came yesterday. I got 800 Math 800 CR and 670 Writing for a 2270 composite. Brought my superscore up to 2380
More than a month since getting my score and I’m still wishing I could go back in time and try again…
