**February 8 ACT Thread**

@xcbro4ife Why not take a real ACT and find out for sure. I am + 2-3 when I switch back to Real ACT after a week of PR. From now to the test I am doing only real act tests.

@VaishS @Kansaskid1 i’ll do that after I get my results from this upcoming test (unless I get 30+)

@XCBro4Life I would say it would be like a 29ish, but as @kansaskid1 said take a real one and then you will know for sure!

I took the test on the ACT website, a PR test, a Kaplan test, and I got a 34 on the wbsite one ( not timed ), a 34 on the Kaplan (timed), and a 33 on the PR (timed). Timing myself isn’t an issue, I finish with around 5 mins left for each test. Can’t wait for Saturday, I’m hoping for a 33+ on my first try.

Everyone ready? Nervous?

I’m going to buy a stopwatch today so I can time my self on the test and not panik lol! I’m super nervous i’m miracuously hoping for a 30!

XCBro4life

At my last test they kicked out the kid ahead of me with a stopwatch. You cannot have a watch that beeps or makes noise. I just use a regular watch with a face clock.

I feel very very ready. The snow days this week gave me more time to study! I went thru each test section twice! I have winter formal on saturday, today I am getting a spray tan and new shoes to go with my dress. I am going to review ACT 36 when I get home.

Good luck everyone!

@kansaskid1 as long as the sounds are turned off i’ll be good.

there will be so many people on here at 12 PM est lol.

@XCBro4Life I know! The day of and after the test the ACT thread blows up lol, ill have to turn notifications off lol

One of the books said not to take a practice test the day before, and to relax instead, so I think today’s the last day for practice (unless you test better by cramming). My GC told my class to not tell the ACT to send scores to colleges in case we have a bad day, but you’re allowed to change the colleges until feb 13. I’m only a little nervous. Good luck everyone

@VaishS @jere454 lol yeah just relax. I’m working my new stopwatch and playing video games!

First time taking the ACT tmrw… of all the practice tests I took from the Real ACT prep book and Real ACT tests released every year…

My English avg was 30, Math was 36 and Science was 30! but the Reading section was just 24… I suck at the reading section!! Hoping for a miraculous 30 on the first try!

@VaishS @kansaskid1 good luck guys! im going to be

I got a 29 in 7th grade, but all of my practice tests have been in the 33-36 range, so I’m hoping for a 35. Yikes.

@XCBro4Life I have had a cold all day :frowning: Looks like im going to need the luck… Just wondering do you know how to make a runny nose go away overnight? Lol, But Good luck too!

Hey guys! i will be also taking the ACT tommorow, and it will be the first time i take it. I practiced from the Barron and got high 20’s and then on the Real I usually got 33. Is the actual test easier?
I heard science and math are alot harder :(

Got a 35 the last time that I took it (September), and this time I’m shooting for the coveted 36.

@Lanie49 The actual thing is A LOT easier than Barron, not too different from the Red ACT book! Good luck!

Thanks everybody good luck to all of you as well! I’m will be praying for us all to reach our greatest potential(: BTW are all ACT essay related/about education?
