I have a question about this. Do both parent turn in a MPN and Application, or can just one turn in the set?

Wow - I hadn’t thought about that.

When I submitted my FAFSA, it said “at least one of you parents must have a PIN.” So only dad got a PIN and he’s the one who has completed the Parent PLUS loan application and the MPN using his personal information. I did indicate on the FAFSA that my parents were married, filing jointly.

All the paperwork is under dad’s name as the “parent borrower” but I’m assuming that both of my parents would be considered the borrowers and be legally liable jointly. Their loan is still not showing on my Student Account Activity so I’m starting to get a bit worried.

(I would suggest you call the Financial Aid office but you’ll be placed on “hold” for at least 40 minutes before you talk to someone - I was, on a different matter. It’s a very busy time for them… )

Please post if you do find an answer. Thanks!
