<p>Is it true that if your EFC is more than $4041.00, you are not eligible to receive any Fed Pell Grant money? I understand that Fed Pell Grants are only for students with very high financial needs (family income of less than $30K).</p>
<p>For 2008-2009 4041 was the highest EFC you could have for pell eligibility. It may (or may not) change this year. Last year the cut off actually went down (from @4110 in 2008-2008 as far as I recall) which I thought was odd as the maximum pell went up.</p>
