Federal Vertification Form = Acceptance?

So i applied for this university and recently (begininng of this month) i got a notification saying that they need a federal vertification of my financial information. this form is due in may next year. it gave me this crazy idea..does this mean i'm admitted? i mean..why would they ask for this so late after decisions are out if i'm rejected? they randomly select 30% of fafsa apps to vertify but if i was rejected, why would they ask for it so late when i would already be in college?

One thing has nothing to do with the other. Financial aid operates on its own. They have to complete your file in case you do get accepted. Either the May 2012 deadline is a typo, or they are saying that if you don’t complete verification by May 2012 you will not be eligible for any aid at all for the 2011-12 aid year (believe it or not, it DOES take some students that long to finally turn in their verification documents - and they don’t get ANY money until the verification is complete, by the way).

they probably made their decisions already since the application was due all the way back in january. i mean, if i was rejected why would they even ask for this so late?
