Fee Waiver Pending

Anyone else get this on the Yale application status website? It's the only thing I'm missing. The question is, is the fee waiver really missing? It says "pending." It's been on "pending" for quite a while now. How long does it take to process? sigh

Mine's pending too, and I'm a QuestBridge Finalist (= "automatic" fee waiver).

Mine was pending for about 5 days after I received my Eli-account. Then it updated to approved. They probably need some time to decide whether to grant it to you or not.

Perhaps the approval of the fee waiver is a sign that they read your application, and the "pending" means they haven't....?

Just a guess.

eek. mine has been pending for more than 5 days for sure. guess i have to fork over $70 soon.

Mine's still pending too.

Mine still says fee waiver pending too...Will they contact us if we end up needing to pay?

I’m bumping this because I have this problem right now…“fee waiver pending”

I mean, it’s already February- do you think maybe paying might be safer? IS there a risk of them not reading my application because my fee waiver is “pending”?

Ahh I’m a little worried…

did u use NACAC fee waiver, bc Yale (unlike Harvard, Princeton, UPenn does not accept it)?

Mine still says that and I got my Eli account near the beginning of January. My guess is that they haven’t read our applications yet because I think I would qualify for a wavier.

I used NACAC for each univ I applied and each school including Harvard and Yale accepted the waiver.

if u use the NACAC, u need to add an explanation in the supplement. (other universities do not require a fee waiver explanation with NACAC

My fee waiver is pending as well. We’ll see if they approve; but income-wise, I am slightly above the NACAC limit for the number of dependents in my family.

Mine is still pending as well. Is anyone else’s still pending?

thn call Yale and get it straigtened out.

Mine has been approved.

Mine was pending for weeks and weeks since I applied, but it finally was marked as approved in the last week. I hadn’t even thought about it, but know I wonder if that means they’ve already reviewed my application. And or made my decision.
Crap. That’s nerve-wracking :(

I can’t believe March is basically here already… Decisions are so soon!

Still pending… T_T
