okay rice sent me mails and emails saying my app fee was waivored. I think it was for saying it was my top two choice in my psat and I got merit Semi, maybe?

So on the commomapp when paying I clicked fee waivor. And now Rice is sending me emails that I didn't pay my app fee and must pay...

do I call them, or write a letter?

Also, I checked 'yes' on the will you apply for finaid in the commonapp and I realize I'm not eligible. Do I call them? Should I just ignore it and not submit a FAFSA and they'll ignore it? Or will they be like, hey this dumb girl misses deadlines and forgets to send finaid stuff.

I also got a waiver from rice (because of questbridge) and i emailed the admissions office--if you sent in your common app, you're suppose to check other, and that was suppose to take care of the app fee. you should email the admissions office just to double check the situation

I also got a waiver from Rice - for listing it as one of my top two choices for National Merit earlier in April/May last year. The person who emailed me about the waiver said that no further action was required on my part since the waiver was already noted in their computer, so that's what I did. I didn't even check the box on the Common App. On the Admission/Financial Aid/Enrollment Check status page with the PIN that I received, it read that my application fee had already been paid.

So, eilatan, I would give them a call/email or send a letter...maybe forward the email (hard/soft copy) that Rice sent you to prove that you did receive a waiver. Comparing your case to mine, there has obviously been some sort of a mistake.
