hey, i was wondering if we're allowed to submit certified copies of guidance counselor fee waivers to colleges.... or do they have to be originals?

As long as it is sealed in the schools envelope..no problem

oh, no! but, i dont have school envelopes... and school officially closed today, so i won't be able to get them till the middle of jan! what do i do???

uh oh! I guess you have to call ur counselor and tell him/her to help you

my gc shouted at me today (she said: WHAT IS A FEE WAIVER, ANYWAY? while i explained it to her some 2 wks ago) and i doubt i can expect any further assistance from her. besides, i dont even think we have school envelopes...

Dude put them in any regular envelope. I mean comeon if the waiver is signed and stamped do u really think the college will think that you are a cheat. I mean my school is even seding the school report in regular envelopes and just putting the school stamp on the back of them. Its no big deal. Besides you are not doing anything wrong so if the colleges ever do have any doubts they will directly ask you or your guidance counsellor so no problems should be there. i hope you are giving your GC's phone or email.

the school's phone # is on the letterhead + i put her cell no. in the common app. that should be fine, right? anyway, thanx for the reassurance vampiro.... :-P
