I was recently accepted to UCF. I am still unsire if I want to live on campus, but I know housing is filling up very fast and once UF acceptances go out, many people will flood the housing applications. I qualify for an enrollment fee waiver, but I coudn't find anything stating if it was possible to waive the housing deposit of $250 as well. I just don;t want my parents to pay money they don't have, just for me to decide to room with a friend because it is significantly cheaper. So is it possible?

You should call financial aid. They probably won’t waive the fee, but they may delay it until you financial aid comes in in the fall.

Call the UCF Housing Department, they should be able to help. They will most likely charge your student account on myUCF.

I contacted housing and they said they can put it off and just charge me the full amount for housing. But I don’t know if this confirms I will have to live in UCF housing. Any ideas?

How do you know if you qualify for the enrollment fee waiver and how do you get it?

Extra Info: I qualify for the application fee waiver btw.

Yes it confirms your housing, you are treated on a first come first serve basis just as those that have paid. Also, Altenz you qualify for the enrollment fee waiver since you qualified for the app fee waiver. What you need to do is print out the form that they want you to send in with the payment, but instead of the payment, include a written request of an enrollment fee waiver and include a copy of your SAT/ACT fee waiver or state that you received an app fee waiver.

Thank’s so much Vance, you’re really helpful.
