Yeah...so I have no idea what to do with my fee waivers. Apparently, I get 4 fee waivers because I've always been eligible for SAT waiver things. So I'm submitting my app today, and it asks me how to pay for it, and I say fee waiver...and then it says

"If you used College Board fee waivers for the SAT Reasoning Test or SAT Subject Test and plan to enter college in Fall 2011, you are eligible to receive up to four Request for Waiver of College Application Fee forms from your counselor. These forms notify participating colleges that you have participated in the SAT Program Fee-Waiver Service and request that they consider waiving their application fees. You must complete and mail the form to the institution in order to apply for this fee waiver. Note: Participating institutions are not obligated to waive their application fee for every fee-waiver user who applies. Please speak to the admissions staff at the institution before submitting your College Board fee waiver application."

So...what do I do??? Do I have to print something and mail it? Get something from my guidance counselor??? Please bear in mind that my application for early decision is due by tomorrow, lol.

Urgh natalieisbored, I see that I’m not the only one who always procrasinates. Good thing you tried to send in your app today instead of tomorrow.

From the CollegeBoard website:

Apparent, your counselor should have received those forms a while ago when you registered for the SAT, and you should hope that he/she still have copies of these around. Anyway, don’t worry about the CollegeBoard fee waivers anymore because there’s no time left to ask for additional ones, and just use the NACAC ones instead. Print them out, the links for which can be found on the CollegeBoard website here ([College Application Fee Waivers](College Application Process – Counselors | College Board)), ask your guidance counselor to sign it, mail it in, and make sure it’s postmarked by tomorrow. Remember, it would take time for them to process the fee waivers too.

Thaaaaaaaaaaank you guys. I got the form into the school, got it signed, and mailed it just like two minutes ago…WHEW THANK GOD EARLY APPS ARE DONE!!!
