Fee Waiving Letter?

So I'm nearly ready to send out my Rice application on common app, the only thing I haven't done is pay the fee.

Its not a big deal to pay it, but a few months back I got a letter saying that because I had a high score on the PSAT (I'm NM commended) and named them as a top choice school, they would waive my fee. The common app still says I have to pay it.

I realize a should have probably called them earlier, but I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this. Are the offices open today, does anyone know? (If they are I'm sure they're swamped, with the deadline being tomorrow...)

Trust me; your fee is waived. I received the same letter, except for “outstanding AP scores.”

Just send your app in. They have you on a list and will automatically waive your fee. :)

i got it too. here’s what you do.

“Rice is an exclusive user of the Common Application. To activate your application fee waiver from the Common Application website, go the Payments section of your Common Application. Select Fee Waiver Request, then Other. Click the checkbox and save.”

Thanks everyone!
